Terms of Service

Last updated 26 August 2026 · Governed by Tennessee law

These terms apply to vehicle purchases, junk car removal, and towing and recovery services provided by Nashville We Buy Junk Cars by AG Towing & Recovery . By requesting a quote, scheduling a pickup, or offering a vehicle for sale to us, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Who we are and what we do

We purchase junk, wrecked, flood-damaged and non-running vehicles, remove them, and provide towing and recovery services in Nashville, Tennessee and the surrounding areas. Contact is by telephone or text message at (615) 917-2015, twenty-four hours a day.

Vehicle ownership and title

Nashville We Buy Junk Cars by AG Towing & Recovery purchases vehicles only from sellers who are legally entitled to sell them. While we are able to purchase certain vehicles without a title , we can never complete a purchase without first verifying ownership.

Depending on the vehicle, its age, and the circumstances, we may require any of the following:

  • A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID matching the seller
  • Current or expired vehicle registration in the seller's name
  • The vehicle title, when available
  • A bill of sale or other documentation establishing chain of ownership
  • A lien release, if the vehicle was previously financed
  • Truthful information about any liens, loans, or encumbrances
  • Any additional documentation required under Tennessee law or by the Tennessee Department of Revenue

Tennessee law requires a dealer to make a reasonably diligent inquiry, based on the seller, the property offered and the surrounding circumstances, into whether the person has the legal right to sell. Our verification requirements exist to satisfy that duty.

Seller representations and warranties

By offering a vehicle for sale, you represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner or are authorised by the lawful owner to sell it; that the vehicle is not stolen; that it is free of undisclosed liens or encumbrances; and that all information you provide about the vehicle and its ownership is accurate and complete.

You further agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, loss, or expense arising from a breach of these representations, including claims brought by a lienholder, co-owner, insurer, or any other party asserting an interest in the vehicle.

Our right to refuse or cancel a purchase

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any purchase, at any point up to and including the moment of pickup , if ownership cannot be verified to our satisfaction, if documentation appears altered or inconsistent, or if we have any reason to believe the seller is not authorised to sell the vehicle.

This applies even after an offer has been quoted or a pickup has been scheduled, and no compensation is owed in such cases . We do not purchase stolen vehicles or vehicles the seller is not authorised to sell.

Quotes and offers

Any figure given by telephone, text message, or otherwise is an estimate based on the information you provide . It is not a binding offer. Our final offer is made once we have seen the vehicle and confirmed its year, make, model, condition, completeness and location.

If the vehicle materially differs from your description — for example if major components have been removed, or the condition is substantially worse than stated — we may revise or withdraw the offer. You are free to decline a revised offer, and in that case no sale takes place and nothing is owed by either party.

Pickup, removal and payment

  • Free removal applies to vehicles we purchase within twenty miles of Nashville. Outside that radius, removal may be quoted separately or declined.
  • Payment is made in cash at the time of pickup , before the vehicle is loaded, once ownership documentation has been verified.
  • A person authorised to sell the vehicle must be present at pickup to complete documentation and receive payment.
  • You must ensure the vehicle is accessible and that all personal belongings have been removed before collection.
  • You must disclose anything that affects safe recovery, including the vehicle's location, whether it rolls and steers, and any hazardous condition.

Once payment is made and the vehicle is collected, ownership and all risk pass to us. We are not responsible for personal property left inside a vehicle after collection, and we are under no obligation to retrieve or return it.

Towing and recovery services

Towing and recovery performed on vehicles we are not purchasing is a paid service, quoted according to location, destination and the work involved. Charges are quoted before dispatch wherever practicable.

You are responsible for any storage, impound, or release fees owed to a third party such as a body shop, tow yard, or property owner. Those are separate from anything owed to us.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, our total liability arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the amount paid or payable for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages , including lost profits or loss of use.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Text messages

If you contact us by text message, you consent to receive text messages from us relating to your enquiry, quote and pickup. Message and data rates may apply. You may stop at any time by replying STOP or by telling us on the telephone.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under them shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee.
